Hello makeup geeks,

This is my second attempt on writing this post which upsets me because I had completed my reviews but due to the freaking blog probs I had to re-do this back again. But it's fine since it is for my readers (if there's any). Anyway, to start of I got my palette at Sephora in KLCC which personally I think I like KLCC Sephora better than the Starhill Sephora. I don't know is it just me but I feel like KLCC Sephora offers more choices. Originally I was in KLCC to accompany my boyfriend to return his Uniqlo sweater where it was wayyy to big for him. But me, being a make up freak have a bad idea to visit Sephora thinking that I might be able to passs all of the makeup since I'm kinda broke that time. However, as expected it did not happen. I walked out from Sephora with Sephora paper bag filled with this palette. I was soo excited when I saw this palette placed on the front section. I literally almost screamed! There's only 4 more palette's left when I grab mine. Fuhh. Lucky me. teheee. So now, enough of me rambling about my life. Let's go for some serious business.

COLOR SELECTION (4.5/5)

There are 15 colors of eyeshadows in this palette. As usual, UD offers beautiful colors to play with where it comes with 7 neutral colors (midnight rodeo, midnight 15, deeper, chase, vanilla, M.I.A, and flow), whereas there's 5 fun playful colors (junkshow, omen, evidence, deep end and tainted) and the rest are silvers and black. It comes with only 1 matte color which is the black color called blackout while the rest are shimmery colors. This is the only problem on the eyeshadow part where they don't provide enough matte colors for everyday use. They should provide at least 3 or 4 more matte colors to make this palette more presentable and preferable. Regardless of that, I could make thousands of make up look just using this one make up palette. AH-MAZING. I am so in love with this palette. However, there are some people that are not please with the color selection as they are hoping to get more neutrals like the infamous naked palette but I must say that you could not ask more from this palette because this palette is made to celebrate their 15th year anniversary which explains why they are some fun colors because anniversary should project FUN! am I not right? Having to many neutrals in this palette will make it a little bit plain and less interesting looking.

COLOR PAY-OFF/PIGMENTATION (5/5)

Pigmentation will not be a question in UD eyeshadows. The texture of the eyeshadows are smooth, velvety and well-pigmented. With just a light swatch you will be able to get a really good color pay off which is why it took me for a while to fully use the eyeshadows. With just a light dip using your brush you can get enough color to be apply onto your eyes.

PACKAGING

I could not express how excited I am when I first saw this palette's packaging. It is super elegant and beautiful. It is soo different from the other palettes that I have seen so far. It is soo breathtakingly beautiful. The top cover of the packaging is in silver color while the bottom part is in purple. I will never imagine that silver and purple can go so well together. I could not get over how pretty this packaging looks like. There is also a velvety packaging to cover the bottom part of the palette. I guess to keep the palette's from having scratches which brings me to the downside of this palette. The packaging itself is very easy to get scratches which explains why some people prefer not to move it from their vanity. It is also quite weighty and might inefficient for people to bring along during travel as it is quite bulky as well. However, despite the drawbacks of the packaging I still LOVE this palette.

DETAILS OF THE PALETTE

Price: RM180. So it's around USD50++. Some people might think that this palette is wayyy to expensive but personally I think it is a great deal. There's 15 colors included in this palette which represents their 15th year anniversary. It is a lot of color. If you do the math, 1 eyeshadow is equivalent to RM12 which is a good deal considering this is a professional brand from UD.

Where to buy? : I bought mine from Sephora in KLCC but you can also get it from the Sephora in Starhill as well.

Is there tax?: No. It's RM180 net.

So yeah. This is my full review of this palette and if you have any question please leave it on the comment section below. I just completed making a tutorial out from this palette. I might post it here end of this week. Look up for it. There will also be another review on the famous Naked palette on my next post.

Anyway, I hope you guys like it. Don't forget to look up for the upcoming reviews. Thank you sooo much for spending your time reading. I'll see you on my next post. xo

Love,
Nurul
