Nail of the day: China Glaze, For Audrey

Hey Everyone,

I've done nothing for the whole day today. Was a tiring week for me. So, I've decided that today will be the time I'll be sitting in front of the laptop screen and watch YouTube. But as time goes by (when my eyeballs, neck & my back is in pain), I've decided to update my blog with "nail of the day". haha. To begin with, this had nothing to do with promoting products or so forth. Just showing you what I had on my nails for today. So, here goes.

For Audrey

I can say that China Glaze nail polish has the same quality as OPI nailpolish.
Price : RM25
Unfortunately this nail polish is not available in Malaysia (As far as I know).
But you can purchase this at nail fiesta. Hope this helps.

URBAN DECAY : Ammo Palette

URBAN DECAY
Ammo Palette

The packaging

The colors

It comes with a big size mirror and a sponge tip applicator.
Colors that came in this palette.

PRICE: Can't recall. But I think it was about the same price as the other Urban Decay palette which retails around RM145.

When I first bough this I was super super excited to try it. It is said that this palette are the combination of 10 best seller colors! How cool is that! It has a lot of neutral colors which is a plus for me because I love neutral colors. It comes with a sponge tip applicator and it has a magnetic bar which secure and shut the palette. So, you don't have to worry on having the eyeshadow to shatter all over the place. Anyway, moving on to the pro's and con's of this palette.

PRO'S:

  1. As usual, Urban Decays' eyeshadows are well pigmented and vibrant!
  2. These are the 10 bestsellers eyeshadows of Urban Decay. You can't go wrong with it.
  3. The packaging is excellent for travelling as it is easy and light to be carried around.
  4. There's a big size mirror which is easy for you to make touch ups.
CON'S:
  1. I have no other complaints on this palette other than once again, the price is too expensive.

You girls can purchase it here online. This is by far the cheapest price I've seen. http://www.amazon.com/Urban-Decay-Ammo-Eye-Palette/dp/B00133S5KA

You can also purchase this at Sephora besides Starhill, Kuala Lumpur.

Disclaimer: I won't be responsible to any online purchase transactions as I only provide information to help you girls get your hands on this palette.

URBAN DECAY : Sustainable Shadow Box

HEY GIRLS,

Like I promised you guys that I will review some of the products that I bought during my visit to Sephora in Malaysia last weekend. This is the first item that I will review for you guys which you guys can see from the title above, the "sustainable shadow box" from Urban Decay.

PRICE: RM145

PRO'S:

  1. The color is well pigmented
  2. Wearable colors
  3. Comes in 10 colors which is A LOT!
  4. Comes with the infamous primer potion
  5. Cute packaging
  6. Comes with a mirror and mini brush
CONS:
  1. The price is expensive. Should I be stressing this out? Duhhh. It's Urban Decay.
  2. The glitter in midnight cowboy rides again & VZI is too chunky. I guess by putting a base for this glitter shadow to stick on would be better as the glitter will fall all over the face.
Needless to say, I still LOVE this palette. It is super pigmented and the color is just wearable. I wore this  almost everyday to school since the day I grab this palette. I can create tons of looks by just using this palette. For those who just started might want to grab this palette as it comes in a variety set of colors and is good for neutral look (I found out that newbies will likely to start with neutral look).

The mini primer potion that comes together with the palette.

Unwrapped

The packaging of this palette looks like bamboo.

Swatches
Top from the left: Twice Baked, TDK, Flipside, Grifter, VZI
Bottom from the left: Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, Flash, Oil Slick, Kiddie Pool,  &  Half  Baked
This is the colors that comes in with the palette.

SEPHORA in MALAYSIA!

Hey Blog Junkies,

Just want to inform you guys that sephora had landed in Malaysia. Finally. -_-. I've waited for bajillion years for them to open up here. Bought few stuff from there which I will put up a review later. Anyway, here are some photos that I wanted to share with you guys. Their official opening ceremony was at 4th of May if I'm not mistaken. But I went there before their official opening day. Hahaha. I just couldn't wait anymore. There's several brands which are available in Malaysian Sephora. My favorite ones would be Urban Decay, Too Faced, Bare Minerals, Sephora brands, Dr. Brant and I was soo excited for this which is Mario Badescu skin care line. I'll list out brands available there.
I know most of you guys are waiting for Nars, Bourjois, and Sleek make up brands but unfortunately they did not carry them here. I was super upset when they informed that Naket Pallette from Urban Decay is not available yet. Some say it's out of stock but I doubt it as I think they did not bring it in Malaysia yet. Anyway girls, here are some of the brands that are available in Malaysia Sephora. Credits to Sephora Malaysia Official Facebook

QUEEN HELENE MASK JULEP

Hello my beautiful readers,

As you guys know, I don't have pretty smooth perfect skin. I do have a lot of breakouts. Sometimes its too much for me to handle. So, I came across a lot of products and today I'm going to review for you guys an acne mask. I watched you-tube a lot and you guys can say that I know quite a bit of beauty products as I watched a lot of make-up and beauty gurus in you-tube from all over the world. As I was reading and watching reviews on few product I came across Queen Helene Mask Julep which is also one of the hype products in you-tube.

This mask is super cheap. It was around 3 or 4 dollars in US but I bought this from a friend and I have no idea why but it's a bit pricey than if you buy it in the drugstore. You can't find this in Malaysia but you can but it online in e-bay. The smell of this mask is minty. It really reminds me of Colgate toothpaste. I know it sounds gross for some people but I personally love the smell. The texture is pasty and it's almost like toothpaste texture but a little bit thicker. The paste was green in color and it has quite a product. As it claims, it does really dries out pimples and acne. My brother was so in love with it that he actually pay me to use it. It really dries out the pimples overnight but it didn't work on pimples underneath the skin. It only works on pimples that is already on the surface. As for blackheads, I don't think it work for blackheads but it does shrink the large pores. I mean, at least it does help to shrink it  a little bit. You can feel that as you apply the mask your face feels tighter and tighter.Apply this mask for a good 20 mins and rinse it with cold water. Anyway, overall I really recommend this product for those who have pimples and enlarged pores.

Me & my best friend Reina try the mask out for the first time.

URBAN DECAY palette

Hey Everyone,

I know it's been a while since I last updated my blog. I know I've been slacking of posts these few months. But bare with me guys. Anyway, today i will be reviewing you guys the Urban Decay palette. I'm not really sure which collection this (I know I'm way behind of Urban Decay palette. Don't blame me for not having Urban Decay in Malaysia) was but this palette is AMAZING!. I bought this in Singapore last month. The first time i swatched the colors in Sephora, I know that I should buy it. I was looking for Naked palette that is a big hype in you-tube, but as I expected, it was sold out. the lady that is working in the Sephora told me that I have to wait till next year and I was like whattttt? Anyway back to the palette, it was a little bit pricey but it's worth for it. It is said that the colors in the palette was the collection of their best selling eye-shadows.

There's ten eye-shadows in this palette and bare in mind guys, it's a shimmer palette so there will be tons of glitters in the eyeshadow. The colors are mostly neutral so it's good for everyday look for those who like gold and bronze color. It comes with an eyeshadow brush which I did not recommend to use it as an applicator but it's fine to be use as  a smudger for eyeliner on the lower lash line. The pallette comes with a mirror. The packaging of this pallette is adorable. I love how the packaging looks like. But if there's pro there will also be cons, one thing that turns me off of this pallette is glitter in the eyeshadow. It is a little bit chuncky and when you apply the eyeshadow on your lid, do expect A LOT of fall outs. And when I say A LOT you will get tons of glitters on your face. So, take my advice, put your foundation after your done with your eye make up or put some loose powder under your eyes to catch fall outs. But overall I give this pallete a thumbs up regardless of the fall out, this pallette is still amazing.

DOVE

HELLO EVERYONE,

This is how it looks like with the packaging it comes with.

So, for those who know me, obviously they know I love to permanent dyed and style my hair. I color and dyed my hair at least 2 or 3 times per year. sometimes even more.  I know it's bad but I get bored with my hairstyle quite often. I had a lot of hair fall going on, super dry-ness and split ends. I once had a very-very thick black hair where I hate it when I was a kid. So, I chopped off my hair and layered it to make it thinner. I felt stupid as I grew older. How I wish I still had a long and thick black hair. I really struggled a lot with my hair. Tried out few hair products but my hair is as hard as rock. It's soo hard to deal with. I went to Guardian the other day with my sister. I was wondering around looking for body wash, but instead I end up at the hair section. This is when I saw this little angel starring at me whispering "buy me".
I directly purchase it and brought it back home with no idea why do I purchased it in the first place. I then tried it out for couple of weeks and this product was treating my hair quite fairly although it doesn't make a BIG difference to my hair, but hey! at least it does something.

The PRO'S of this product:
It's a size of a palm.
  •  It has a really pleasent smell. Not too strong and not to soft.
  • I love on how it comes with a pump and a transparent cover.
  • It does make my hair feel a little bit softer and not as dry as if I didn't put it on.
  • I love the texture. It's not too thick and it's not too liquidity. You know what I mean right? Serum always come in a form of runny liquid which I hate soo much.
  • I love the packaging. It's super cute and it's a travel size pack which makes it easier to bring it into my purse.
The CON'S of this product:

  • I'm not sure whether it's just me, but I don't really think serum stop hair falls. I think this serum would be better if they labelled it as damage reconstruction serum instead of "hair fall rescue".
  • This cons is not much of a big deal. But just listing it down just so you guys can see. Though I love it's translucent cover on top, but I hate that the fact it was made out of plastic. And it's not just because it is made out of plastic, but the fact that it feels like it was made out from cheap plastic. When you put it in the bag, you can see scratches all over the cover. But as I said, it's not a big deal.

I really wish they could change the name for this product. Damage serum instead of hair fall serum.

Price: RM 19. 90
you can get it from any drugstore near you.
I'm sure it is sell in Guardian, Watson, & Caring.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale - Official Movie Trailer

Holla beautiful blog readers,

HACHIKO remake 2009

Before I went to sleep I just remembered I need to do a review on "Hachiko's" movie. I was super excited to blog you guys about this movie till I couldn't figure which to begin with. OK, this movie was originally based on true story from Japan where there were this one dog, Hachiko (I'm not good with dogs breed) who was not supposed to be with his owner ( Richard Gere ) but he chooses him which made them went through a lot. They eventually became good friends and I can't describe on how much this dog loves and adores his owner. This movie really touches you heart and definitely would involved tears. It was such a beautiful story on how a dog can be loyal to its owner and waited for its owner in railway station everyday for 9 years. 9 years guys? can u imagine? I bet human like us won't be that loyal to wait for someone you love for 9 freaking years.
Hachiko

This was the "real" Hachiko before he died.

The most loyal dog in the world.

This story happens in 1920's to 1930's. You could read more about their original story here. You guys can watch the trailer down bellow.

DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE A MOVIE YOU WANT TO MISSED OUT.!
